Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Orientation: Assist in the orientation process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork and training materials are prepared and distributed.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and general HR questions.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring compliance with confidentiality regulations.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews, coordinate logistics for candidate visits, and prepare interview packets.
- Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting initial phone screenings.
- Payroll Assistance: Support the payroll department by collecting and verifying timekeeping data and expense reports.
- Event Planning: Assist in organizing company events, wellness programs, and team-building activities.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior HR experience required; we are looking for entry-level candidates with a strong desire to learn.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS software is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Integrity: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
