Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technology trends (quantum, bio-computing, AR/VR) through market research and academic partnerships
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with 2026 business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (minimum 2 POCs quarterly)
- Develop patentable intellectual property in emerging tech domains
- Present trend insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Mentor junior innovators through our Future Tech Academy program
- Build relationships with academic institutions and venture capitalists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting emerging tech trends (3+ validated predictions)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, neuro-interfaces, or sustainable tech
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Experience with strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and trend analysis platforms
