Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide professional, efficient service for all in-branch inquiries and transactions.
- Process daily cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the opening and closing of bank branches, including cash balancing and inventory management.
- Identify and cross-sell banking products, such as savings accounts and credit cards, to meet sales goals.
- Resolve customer account issues and escalate complex problems to senior management when necessary.
- Operate teller hardware, such as ATMs, check scanners, and vaults, following strict security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service or cash handling is preferred but not mandatory for this Trainee position.
- Strong math skills and the ability to perform mental arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs for cash handling purposes.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
