Responsibilities
- Execute daily banking transactions accurately, including cashing checks, processing deposits, and handling withdrawals.
- Greet members warmly and provide exceptional customer service to resolve inquiries and open accounts.
- Assist in the daily balancing of the teller drawer and cash reconciliation.
- Identify and cross-sell financial products such as loans, credit cards, and savings accounts to meet branch goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller workstation, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Assist in the training of new teller staff and participate in branch meetings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills (30+ WPM).
- Proven ability to handle cash responsibly and with high accuracy.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by branch volume.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
