Responsibilities
- Assist customers with daily banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries.
- Learn and operate bank teller software and automated teller machines (ATMs).
- Handle cash handling procedures accurately, balancing daily drawers with zero errors.
- Build rapport with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Learn to identify and prevent fraud to protect bank assets.
- Process loan payments and assist with account openings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to obtain a notary commission and any necessary banking licenses.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory for trainees.
