Responsibilities
- Execute daily financial transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, ensuring all drawer balances are balanced to the penny.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients warmly, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues efficiently and professionally.
- Identify and cross-sell appropriate bank products and services, such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards, to meet customer needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment, strictly adhering to all bank security policies and operational procedures.
- Assist in lobby management, including queue management and directing customers to the appropriate service desks.
- Process complex transactions and assist in opening new accounts under the guidance of senior staff members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; prior experience in retail, customer service, or banking is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse client base.
- Proven ability to handle cash and maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new banking software quickly.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch needs.
- Clean criminal background check and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
