Responsibilities
- Cash Handling: Accurately process cash deposits, withdrawals, and payments while maintaining strict cash reconciliation.
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with inquiries regarding account balances, transactions, and banking products.
- Transaction Processing: Verify and process checks, loans, and electronic fund transfers efficiently and securely.
- Product Promotion: Identify customer needs and cross-sell basic financial products such as debit cards and savings accounts.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to all bank security protocols, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate daily settlement records and reconcile the teller drawer at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Math Skills: Strong aptitude for mathematics and attention to detail with numbers.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Technology: Proficiency with computer systems, point-of-sale terminals, and banking software.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, trustworthy, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Experience: Previous customer service or cash handling experience is preferred but not mandatory for our trainee program.
