As a Bank Teller Trainee, you will serve as the face of our bank, assisting customers with daily transactions and gaining hands-on experience in branch operations. Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and bill payments efficiently and accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with account inquiries and explaining complex banking products in simple terms.
- Operate teller terminals and handle cash transactions while maintaining strict accuracy and adherence to security protocols.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile discrepancies with minimal supervision.
- Identify and cross-sell banking products to meet individual branch goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with the branch manager to ensure exceptional service standards and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor are essential.
- Basic math proficiency and keen attention to detail are required.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Willingness to obtain necessary banking licenses and certifications upon hiring.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
