Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately and efficiently process daily customer transactions, including cashing checks, processing deposits, and withdrawals.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and resolve account issues with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Cash Handling: Maintain accurate cash drawers and balance daily settlements at the end of the shift.
- Product Promotion: Introduce and explain bank products and services to customers to help them meet their financial goals.
- Account Maintenance: Assist in opening new accounts and completing necessary paperwork for customers.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and customer interactions as required by compliance regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior banking experience necessary; retail or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Ability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
