Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to resolve inquiries and meet financial needs.
- Learn and operate teller terminals, ATMs, and other banking software systems.
- Assist in opening new accounts and processing loan applications under supervision.
- Balance cash drawers daily and reconcile discrepancies with manager approval.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products such as credit cards and savings accounts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
- Reliable transportation to and from the branch location.
