What You'll Do:
As a Trainee, you will learn the ropes of retail banking while serving our community. Your primary focus will be building relationships and ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service to resolve inquiries and issues.
- Assist in daily branch operations, including lobby management and ATM maintenance.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to offer savings accounts, CDs, and loan products.
- Ensure the accurate balancing of the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Learn and comply with all banking regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; some college coursework is a plus.
- Previous customer service or cash handling experience is preferred but not required for the Trainee program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic math skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficient in using computer systems and MS Office applications.
