Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and payments accurately and efficiently.
- Learn and operate banking software and point-of-sale terminals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving issues.
- Assist with opening and closing new accounts under the guidance of a senior teller.
- Handle cash transactions with strict adherence to security and audit protocols.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for bank products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No prior banking experience is necessary; we provide all training.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a background check and credit check (for security clearance).
