Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Learn and perform basic financial product sales, such as savings accounts and certificates of deposit.
- Maintain accurate daily cash drawers and balance cash at the end of the shift.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving account issues.
- Assist in opening new accounts and guiding customers through digital banking platforms.
- Adhere to all bank security policies, including Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
- Collaborate with the branch team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; college coursework in finance or business is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and provide outstanding customer service.
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn banking software systems quickly.
- Must successfully pass a background check and credit check.
