Responsibilities
- Customer Relations: Greet and welcome customers warmly, answering questions and resolving account inquiries efficiently.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments while adhering to security protocols.
- Cash Handling: Manage cash drawers with precision, ensuring all transactions balance at the end of the day.
- Sales & Service: Identify opportunities to cross-sell our suite of financial products and services to enhance customer value.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records, file documents, and update customer profiles in our banking software.
- Compliance: Follow all bank policies, federal regulations, and internal procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
- Team Collaboration: Support branch operations and assist team members during peak hours to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Business or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred; no prior banking experience is required as training is provided.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail are essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and credit check as part of the hiring process.
