Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions, including cashing checks, processing deposits, and withdrawals, with high accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service by resolving account inquiries and explaining banking products.
- Assist in opening new checking and savings accounts, ensuring all regulatory compliance is met.
- Cross-sell bank services such as loans, credit cards, and safe deposit boxes to meet branch targets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure teller line environment.
- Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation and balancing of the teller drawer.
- Utilize the bank's core software systems to update customer records and process transactions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse customers.
- Excellent math skills with a proven track record of attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and credit check.
- No prior banking experience is necessary for our Trainee program; we provide the training.
