Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and account transfers for customers.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and resolve issues with a focus on the 'customer first' philosophy.
- Cash Handling: Maintain accurate cash drawers and balance daily workstations at the end of each shift.
- Product Knowledge: Learn to identify and recommend appropriate banking products, such as CDs and savings accounts, to meet customer needs.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with branch managers and senior tellers to ensure smooth daily branch operations.
- Compliance: Adhere to all bank policies, regulatory requirements, and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus, but not required for Trainee roles.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Interpersonal: Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and capable of working a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
