Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing, with 100% accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Assist customers with account inquiries and explain banking products and services effectively.
- Operate the teller terminal and banking software systems to manage customer accounts.
- Balance cash drawers and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate with branch management to meet sales and referral goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; previous banking experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash with extreme accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and credit check.
