Responsibilities
- Execute Transactions: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments while adhering to strict security and compliance standards.
- Customer Engagement: Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving issues professionally and efficiently.
- Financial Solutions: Proactively identify customer needs and cross-sell bank products, such as credit cards, savings accounts, and investment services.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawer balances, perform daily reconciliations, and ensure all cash handling procedures are followed.
- Operational Support: Assist with branch operations, including lobby management, answering phones, and opening new accounts under supervision.
- Compliance: Uphold all federal and state banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Know Your Customer (KYC) policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Math Skills: Strong proficiency in basic arithmetic, attention to detail, and the ability to handle large sums of cash accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, customer-centric demeanor.
- Experience: Previous customer service or cash handling experience is a plus but not mandatory for our training program.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays as required by branch schedules.
- Integrity: A proven track record of honesty and ethical behavior is essential for this role.
