Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving account-related issues efficiently.
- Learn and operate banking software systems (e.g., Core Banking, TellerPlus) under supervision.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet branch sales goals.
- Maintain the teller line area in compliance with security and safety regulations.
- Assist in branch operations, such as opening new accounts or handling lobby traffic.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
- Previous customer service experience preferred but not required for trainees.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as part of the hiring process.
