Responsibilities
- Master core teller operations including cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, and transaction processing
- Deliver exceptional customer service while accurately resolving account inquiries and concerns
- Adhere to strict security protocols and regulatory compliance standards
- Process loan payments, wire transfers, and account maintenance with precision
- Utilize digital banking platforms to assist customers with remote services
- Collaborate with branch management to identify cross-selling opportunities
- Maintain accurate transaction records and daily balancing procedures
- Participate in ongoing training to expand product knowledge and service skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year customer service or cash handling experience
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and willingness to learn banking software
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
- Pass background check and credit verification
- Valid Virginia driver's license (if required for branch rotations)
