Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash checks accurately.
- Greet customers warmly and provide a superior banking experience to build lasting relationships.
- Operate the teller workstation and handle cash drawers with strict adherence to security and compliance policies.
- Resolve customer account inquiries, balance discrepancies, and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Assist with opening new accounts and explaining bank products and services to clients.
- Reconcile daily cash reports and ensure the branch balances perfectly at the end of the shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional lobby environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory for trainees.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and the ability to handle cash under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and a credit check (financial responsibility required).
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work weekends or holidays as needed.
