Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently process daily financial transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding products and services, and resolve issues with a positive attitude.
- Account Management: Assist in opening new accounts and help existing customers with account maintenance and inquiries.
- Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to recommend savings products, credit cards, and investment services that meet customer needs.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all banking regulations, internal policies, and security protocols to prevent fraud and ensure audit readiness.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with branch staff to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming branch environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with strong interpersonal skills.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency (Windows environment) and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle cash with high accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse customer bases.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch needs.
