Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments for all customer types.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account-related issues efficiently.
- Product Knowledge: Learn to identify and cross-sell bank products such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards to meet branch targets.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate daily cash counts, reconcile the teller drawer, and balance the ATM/night depository.
- Compliance: Adhere to all bank policies, federal regulations (BSA/AML), and operational procedures to ensure security and compliance.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with branch management and other team members to ensure smooth daily branch operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous cash handling or customer service experience is a plus, but we offer training for the right candidates.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and the ability to perform mental math quickly and accurately.
- Technical: Basic computer proficiency and typing skills; willingness to learn bank software systems.
- Attributes: Professional demeanor, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
