Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service to ensure a positive banking experience.
- Identify cross-selling and referral opportunities to promote our financial products and services.
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Assist in maintaining a secure and organized branch environment, adhering to all bank policies and regulations.
- Learn and master teller software systems and handle customer inquiries regarding account balances and transactions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Strong math skills with the ability to handle large sums of cash with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required for trainees.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as part of the hiring process.
