Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service at the teller line, processing deposits, withdrawals, and transactions accurately
- Balance cash drawers daily and maintain strict adherence to security protocols
- Assist customers with basic account inquiries and refer complex issues to Relationship Managers
- Actively cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs
- Participate in ongoing training programs to master banking operations and compliance standards
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and maintaining branch cleanliness
- Adapt to evolving technologies including digital banking platforms and self-service kiosks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in finance/business preferred
- 0-2 years of customer service or cash handling experience
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and willingness to learn banking software
- Must pass background check and credit check
- Valid Maryland driver's license (if applicable to branch requirements)
