Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately and efficiently handle daily financial transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Customer Service: Provide superior service to clients by greeting them warmly, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues promptly.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawers and balance daily reports to ensure financial integrity and minimize discrepancies.
- Sales & Cross-Selling: Proactively identify opportunities to recommend bank products and services, such as savings accounts or credit cards, to meet branch goals.
- Operational Support: Assist with branch operations, including opening and closing procedures, security audits, and maintaining a tidy work area.
- Compliance: Adhere to all bank policies, federal regulations, and compliance standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college or banking coursework is preferred.
- Experience: Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Skills: Basic math proficiency, strong computer literacy, and familiarity with POS systems.
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when handling cash bags.
