Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and referring products/services.
- Assist in maintaining accurate daily cash drawers and balancing the teller line.
- Learn and promote bank products, such as savings accounts and loans, to meet sales goals.
- Adhere to strict security protocols and compliance regulations, including KYC and AML policies.
- Collaborate with the branch team to ensure a welcoming and organized branch environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; some college coursework in finance or business is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity and trustworthiness.
- Willingness to obtain necessary banking licenses and certifications upon hiring.
