Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with global regulations and emerging standards
- Conduct ethical risk assessments for AI systems using advanced bias detection and fairness metrics
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, product managers, and legal teams to embed ethical design principles
- Represent the company in industry forums on AI ethics policy development and regulatory compliance
- Design and implement continuous monitoring systems for AI system behavior and ethical performance
- Create educational materials and training programs promoting ethical AI practices across the organization
- Collaborate with academic institutions to pioneer research in explainable AI and algorithmic transparency
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of AI ethics experience
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001) and implementation strategies
- Proven track record of developing enterprise-wide AI ethics programs with measurable impact metrics
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex ethical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong background in machine learning fairness metrics, bias mitigation, and adversarial testing methodologies
- Experience with AI governance tools (e.g., IBM Watson OpenScale, DataRobot Fairness) and ethical auditing protocols
- Demonstrated ability to influence organizational culture and drive ethical decision-making at executive levels
