Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for autonomous systems and predictive algorithms
- Lead cross-functional task forces including engineers, legal, and social scientists
- Author policy whitepapers and position papers for regulatory bodies (NIST, FTC)
- Design transparency protocols for AI decision-making processes
- Establish KPIs for ethical AI performance across product lifecycle
- Mentor teams on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics roles
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks (GDPR, AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Proven experience with bias mitigation in ML pipelines
- Published work in AI ethics or technology policy journals
- Strong background in stakeholder management across technical/non-technical domains
- Knowledge of emerging AI safety frameworks (e.g., Anthropic's Constitutional AI)
