Responsibilities
- Architect strategic 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with MIT/Stanford research partners
- Secure $10M+ in government grants and private equity for frontier tech
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine augmentation
- Present vision briefings to C-suite and congressional technology committees
- Mentor a team of 15+ futurists and prototype engineers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech leadership with 5+ in emerging domains
- Proven track record of securing federal grants (SBIR/STTR) or venture capital
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or climate tech
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain TS/SCI) for government projects
- Fluency in futures methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, scenario planning)
