Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmap integrating quantum computing, decentralized AI, and climate-positive systems
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' teams to identify disruptive innovations with 5-year market impact
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI deployment
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board with data-backed scenario modeling
- Build external partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and academic innovation labs
- Drive patent portfolio development for emerging IP in neuromorphic computing
- Mentor internal 'Future Tech Fellows' program for talent cultivation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or emerging tech roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Spectrum, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, AGI safety protocols, and carbon-neutral tech stacks
- Proven track record of scaling innovation from concept to market
- Security clearance (preferred) or ability to obtain for government projects
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Shell's Two Degrees)
