Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 societal and industrial shifts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum-resistant cryptography, neuro-interfaces)
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI deployments
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Drive patent strategy for emerging tech domains (metaverse infrastructure, synthetic biology)
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in IEEE Nature or top-tier tech journals (2019-2023)
- Proven track record scaling technology solutions from concept to $100M+ revenue
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AGI)
- Experience with technology foresight frameworks (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Validated ability to secure government grants for R&D projects ($5M+)
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global stakeholder engagement
