Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap, aligning with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, metaverse, AGI)
- Establish ethical AI governance frameworks for next-gen automation systems
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for disruptive innovations
- Present strategic technology briefings to board members and investors
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of scaling innovative technologies to enterprise level
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, blockchain, neural interfaces
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar publications
- Certified in Future Studies (CFP) or equivalent accreditation
- Experience with regulatory compliance for AI/ML deployments
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global partnerships
