Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, identifying disruptive trends in AI, quantum computing, and neurotech
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in partnership with MIT and Stanford Innovation Labs
- Architect next-gen human-AI collaboration frameworks for enterprise and consumer applications
- Drive patent strategy for emerging technologies, targeting 15+ filings annually
- Present strategic technology briefings to investors and board members quarterly
- Mentor a team of 8 futurist researchers and technology architects
- Establish industry thought leadership through keynotes at Web Summit and CES
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or emerging tech leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Cognitive Sciences
- Proven track record of commercializing next-gen technologies (quantum/AI/bio-tech)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Published author in IEEE Spectrum or Nature Technology Review
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding from DARPA/NSF/DoD
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese for global partnerships
- Patent portfolio with 10+ granted US patents in AI or quantum systems
