Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year roadmaps for quantum-encrypted AI infrastructure
- Lead interdisciplinary teams prototyping neural interfaces and decentralized networks
- Identify emerging tech threats/opportunities in climate modeling and space tech
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and government innovation councils
- Secure $5M+ in R&D grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD fellows in human-AI symbiosis research
- Publish whitepapers on 2026's digital sovereignty frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI Ethics, or Futurology (or equivalent experience)
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies
- Proven track record scaling R&D from concept to commercial deployment
- Expertise in blockchain governance frameworks and federated learning
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for national tech projects
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on tech disruption
- Portfolio of 3+ patented innovations post-2020
