Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with global impact potential
- Architect scalable systems for decentralized digital infrastructure
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget for experimental technology incubation
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Mentor next-generation engineers in future-forward methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with 8+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, or advanced AI
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Fluency in systems thinking and complex adaptive modeling
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (> $10M)
- Portfolio of launched products with 1M+ users or equivalent impact
