Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with company growth objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security protocols and AI governance frameworks
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, decentralized AI) for strategic implementation
- Present visionary technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology ROI and innovation impact
- Drive adoption of sustainable computing practices across all technology operations
- Mentor emerging tech talent through Horizon's 2026 Innovation Fellowship Program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology leadership with proven experience in strategic transformation
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, neuromorphic systems)
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (IEEE, ACM, or equivalent)
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with focus on future technologies
- Experience leading teams of 50+ technical professionals across global locations
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for AI and quantum technologies
- Track record of securing >$50M in innovation funding or technology investments
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
