Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon scanning frameworks to identify disruptive trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Design strategic roadmaps translating foresight into actionable business transformation initiatives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development and operational planning
- Establish quantitative and qualitative foresight metrics to track emerging technology adoption patterns
- Produce executive-grade trend briefings and scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Champion innovation culture through internal thought leadership and external speaking engagements
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record developing quantitative trend analysis models and scenario-planning frameworks
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and societal shifts
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling executive narratives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through organizational transformation initiatives
- Published thought leadership in futurism, technology ethics, or strategic foresight (strongly preferred)
- Ability to synthesize disparate data points into coherent future narratives
