Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for 2026 technological convergence points (quantum-AI-biotech)
- Produce monthly 'Horizon Scan' reports on geopolitical and socioeconomic disruptors
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite executives
- Lead cross-functional workshops mapping 5-year innovation pathways
- Author thought leadership for MIT Technology Review and Davos forums
- Build proprietary foresight database using natural language processing
- Mentor junior futurists through Horizon's Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight with Fortune 500 consulting experience
- Published research on exponential technology adoption curves
- Expertise in systems dynamics modeling and probabilistic forecasting
- Deep understanding of UN SDGs and climate adaptation frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year predictive models
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Cassandra, Trendalyzer)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (CSSF) preferred
