Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience, quantum computing) to forecast market opportunities through 2030
- Develop and implement strategic innovation frameworks aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype solutions for anticipated societal and business challenges
- Partner with product development teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into 5-year roadmaps
- Present strategic foresight reports and scenario simulations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic thought leaders
- Establish KPIs to measure organizational preparedness for 2026 disruption scenarios
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 impact
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable business outcomes
