Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop quantitative and qualitative scenario models for long-term strategic planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into innovation roadmaps
- Produce executive-grade trend reports and strategic briefings for leadership
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize future-focused research initiatives
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive disruption vectors
- Build and maintain an external expert network for trend validation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Deep understanding of emerging tech (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and tools
