- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present visionary roadmaps to investors and board members securing $50M+ annual R&D budget
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through keynote speaking and publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience with 8+ years in strategic innovation
- Proven track record of translating technological forecasts into commercial success metrics
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, or climate tech)
- Exceptional data visualization skills using tools like Tableau and D3.js for trend storytelling
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent professional development
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers on future technologies
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants exceeding $10M
