Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech, societal shifts, and global megatrends to identify opportunities for 2026+ market disruption
- Develop and present scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product development and business expansion
- Lead interdisciplinary innovation workshops with engineers, designers, and business strategists
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing concepts in agile sprints
- Author thought leadership reports and present findings to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Establish KPIs to track long-term strategic initiatives and adjust course based on real-time data
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, Web3.0)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to articulate complex future visions to diverse audiences
- Track record of launching products/services based on long-term trend forecasting
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
