Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market readiness for emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional teams of AI researchers, nanotech engineers, and sustainability experts
- Secure partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and Fortune 500 companies for pilot programs
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
- Manage $10M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused KPIs
- Monitor global tech trends through our proprietary Horizon Scanning System
- Mentor junior innovators in our Future Leaders Program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with 3+ years focused on 2026+ technology horizons
- PhD or equivalent in Quantum Computing, Synthetic Biology, or Energy Systems
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from concept to commercial deployment
- Expertise in scenario planning and futures methodology (e.g., Delphi Analysis)
- Published research in Nature, Science, or comparable journals
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Experience with ISO 26000 and ESG frameworks for sustainable innovation
