Responsibilities
- Architect and implement the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with 5-year strategic planning horizons
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging hardware, software, and biological systems
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for human-AI symbiotic interfaces and autonomous decisioning systems
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Manage a $10M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused technology adoption KPIs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with demonstrated impact on 10+ year roadmaps
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Biotechnology
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals on emerging tech
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum machine learning, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic computing
- Proven track record scaling technology ventures from concept to $100M+ revenue
- Security clearance eligibility for government collaborative projects
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
