Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive strategic roadmaps for 2026+ focusing on AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ global innovation ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to the executive board with data-driven impact assessments
- Build and maintain a proprietary foresight database tracking 500+ emerging technologies
- Collaborate with R&D teams to validate future market opportunities
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports distributed to 10k+ stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementation
