Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociological trends to forecast 2026 industry disruptions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for clients in AI, biotech, and climate sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops mapping emerging technologies to market opportunities
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with data-driven strategic recommendations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype 2026-ready solutions and business models
- Advocate for ethical innovation principles in future-facing product development
- Represent Nexus Horizons at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging domains (e.g., quantum AI, synthetic biology, decentralized networks)
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Gartner Hype Cycle analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating future visions to C-suite audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused projects with measurable impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures methodologies preferred
