Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 2026 commercial viability
- Develop 10-year innovation roadmaps aligned with ESG principles and UN SDGs
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and risk mitigation for disruptive shifts
- Author quarterly trend reports predicting market disruptions and competitive threats
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing into development lifecycles
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and global futurist forums
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFSD) preferred
