Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global megatrends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate resilience) to create actionable 5-year strategic frameworks
- Develop '2026 Horizon Scenarios' for Fortune 500 clients using predictive modeling and cross-industry data fusion
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen products/services with 3-5 year market viability
- Establish ethical governance protocols for emerging technologies including AGI frameworks and biometric integration
- Present future-state briefings to executive boards and investor committees using immersive data visualization
- Author quarterly 'Future Pulse' reports with 85%+ predictive accuracy benchmark
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon-scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent with 7+ years strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of predicting industry disruptions (examples: blockchain adoption, generative AI impact)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and technology roadmapping
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Palisade @RISK, TrendHunter Pro, Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience advising C-suite on exponential technology adoption and transformational change
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS, APF) or equivalent advanced credential
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 major future-strategy implementations with measurable ROI
