Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and forecast market impacts for 2026+
- Develop strategic frameworks for future-proofing business models and organizational structures
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable foresight
- Author visionary whitepapers and trend reports influencing executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to integrate future scenarios into R&D pipelines
- Represent the company at global futurism summits and industry conferences
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
